Morning: Journey to Sambor Prei KuK, the Ancient Capital City of Zhenla period.
7:00 AM – 7:30 AM: Hotel pick-up from your accommodation in Siem Reap.
7:30 AM – 10:30 AM: Embark on a comfortable drive to Kampong Thom Province (approximately 3 hours), a journey that offers glimpses into rural Cambodian life and scenic countryside. Along the way, your guide will share insights into Cambodia’s rich history and culture.
10:30 AM – 1:00 PM: Arrive at Sambor Prei Kuk. Begin your exploration with the North Group (Prasat Sambor).
1:00 PM – 2:00 PM: Continue to the Central Group (Prasat Tao), known for its guardian lion sculptures. Discover the stories behind these magnificent beasts and explore the surrounding brick structures.
Mid-day: Local Flavors & Jungle Temples
- 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM: Enjoy a traditional Cambodian lunch at a local restaurant near the temple site, providing a taste of authentic regional cuisine

- 5:00 PM – 7:30 PM: Relax on the return journey to Siem Reap, reflecting on the ancient wonders you’ve explored.
