7:00 AM– Depart from Siem Reap towards the majestic Kulen Mountains “Mahindrapura City at 802AD”. It isn’t just a mountain; it’s a tapestry woven with history, spirituality, and breathtaking natural beauty. More than just a scenic escape, it’s a place where ancient echoes resonate, where empires were born, and where rivers that nourished Angkor temples still flow. Step back in time to 802 AD, when King Jayavarman II declared independence on this very peak. What you can explore here are:

9:00 AM– Begin your exploration at River of a Thousand Lingas “The River of Phallic Symbol”, where intricate Hindu Lingam carvings and Yonis adorn the riverbed and become the sacred river. Each lingam represents a prayer etched in stone. Feel the spiritual energy that permeates this mystical site. Then, continue to see the spring water nearby which is one of 14 springs on this mountain, and became the source of the Siem Reap River.

10:00 AM Moving on to see Preah Ang Thom or the reclining Buddha, a colossal sandstone sculpture carved directly into the natural sandstone centuries ago. Immerse yourself in the timeless atmosphere of this forgotten structure, imagining the rituals and ceremonies that once took place.  Pay your respects to the tranquility that emanates from this revered icon.

10:45 AM trek through lush forests, swim in cascading waterfalls, refreshing swimming pools, and stunning scenery.

At Noon-  

1:00 PM–  Let’s get a motorbike ride to have a glimpse of what you might experience, and be transported back to the 9th century, when the first city of Angkor was born, and you can explore several temples that were constructed during that period as well.

4:00 PM Head back to Siem Reap.
